From time to time at work, I will have nothing to do. No emails to return, no calls to pick up, and no orders to place. In those short periods, I like to sit back, put on my maroon 9 and 3/4 cap, and think of a short story to entertain myself. If I like the story enough, I’ll either scrounge up a pen and small pad of paper, or pull up a blank Google Docs sheet and write it down.
